Spring Kickoff Meeting

Reminder: The men’s playoff preseason meeting is next Tuesday (2/10) at 7:00pm at Dowling’s Pub in Roselle Park. More than just schedule review, the meeting aims to solidify each individual player’s knowledge base regarding team structure and strategy. It will allow us to hit the ground running at practice and be ready to run through the EGU and Atlantic Super Region. Come by, have a beer, learn a bit, teach a bit, and help the team out in a rare off-the-pitch session. Other topics of discussion will include the Missoula, MT Maggotfest tour and autumn All Blacks vs Springboks test in Baltimore.

Super Bowl Squares

Men's club treasurer Nick Ballas is running a Super Bowl Squares competition. The generous lad he is, he is donating all the leftover money to UCRFC. The cost is $25 per entry with quarterly payouts up to $400. Full rules in the link below. Please forward this along to any and all the gamblers in your life!

Sad News

Sad news for the Mudturtle family. John Holmes, father to former Men's player James " Jimmy" Holmes and Uncle to former Men's player Tyler Ringwood passed away. John was a supporter of the club attending many matches and many fundraisers. In addition to his support on the field, he was a massive reason Union County was always included in the Union County St Patrick's day Parade as he sat a Trustee on their committee. Services will be held on Friday January, 9th at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church 971 Suburban Road, Union on Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 AM. Interment is Private.
